Can teachers detect humanized AI text?

The ability to detect an AI-generated text varies based on how heavily the original author has humanized the content. If only a small number of words were replaced, it can still typically be detected by an AI detector because the base structure and the logical predictability of the sentences will still be the same. On the other hand, if the original author radically restructures their sentences, alters the tone of the sentence or employs their original ideas, it may be much more difficult for either detection software or teachers to identify that the text was written using AI.
In addition to detection software, teachers consider other indicators of humanized AI-written text. For instance, if the author has changed their writing style suddenly, if the vocabulary used does not match the same person’s previous writing, or if the writing does not contain personal specific examples, these could all indicate the writing was created using humanized AI.
