To cite a chapter in an edited book in APA 7th edition format, use this structure: Chapter Author Last Name, Initials. (Year). Title of chapter. In Editor Initials. Last Name (Ed.), Title of Book (pp. page range). Publisher. DOI or URL if available.
For example: Johnson, M. T. (2023). Understanding plagiarism detection. In R. A. Smith (Ed.), Academic Integrity in the Digital Age (pp. 45–68). Oxford University Press. https://doi.org/10.xxxx/xxxxx. Note that the book title is italicized but the chapter title is not. If there are multiple editors, use “Eds.” in brackets.
